I posted this question some time ago that was kindly answered by CyberPanda.

However, I’d like to go one step further.

Changing the avatar size is quite simple. Just go to the plugin php file and change the ‘sidebar_login_widget_avatar_size’ function from 38 to 80.

However doing this just expands the 38 pixel image which makes the 80 pixel image look distorted.

Is there a way to make the plugin retrieve an 80 pixel image from the source (eg: facebook) so that the image is clear?

    My site for reference: https://www.yudemenrecords.com

    Thanks

  • No it’s unfortunately not possible to choose the size of the images that the social networks provide.

You could however use a bigger image and scale it down to reduce the distortion. You only need to enable the “large avatars” in the Social Login settings and then you scale them down like you did before.

Ok that’s a good idea. Thank you.
