Change Avatar, But Can't Access Account

  • I’m trying to change my profile picture. I went to Gravatar and logged in with my username and password.

    The system then asked for a verification code, but I haven’t received one on my mobile. The Authenticator mobile application didn’t work.

    What should I do?

    Sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with Gravatar. Have you looked through Gravatar Support for an answer? Spam folder?

    I Didn’t Get My Confirmation Email!

    Occasionally, confirmation emails can be trapped by email spam filters and won’t appear in your inbox. Please check your spam folder for an email from [email protected]. Remember that the sender of the email will be WordPress.com, not Gravatar.

    To ensure that you receive further notices from Gravatar, please also add these email addresses to your email service’s address book or whitelist:

    [email protected]
    [email protected]
    [email protected]

    After you’ve done that, please try resetting your WordPress.com password and check for that email. It can take up to a couple of hours, but normally you should have it within a matter of minutes. Resetting your WordPress.com password will automatically verify your account.

    The verification code is sent via SMS, but I haven’t got one. The Gravatar Support is close at the moment — bummer! Nothing on my spam folder too.
