    Two questions.

1: Is there a way to get the “add to cart” button on the shop/category pages to lead to the product page, while keeping the function of the button on the product page the same?

For instance, if somebody clicks the “Add to Cart” button on a category page (which I’ve changed to simply say “Check This Out”), I want it to take them to the product page for that product.

If somebody then clicks the button on the product page, I want it to add the item to the cart (for buyable products) or lead to an affiliate link (for external products).

Is there an easy way to do this? Or is this considered an advanced customization that’ll probably require hiring somebody?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@dnacannon in theory, yes this would be possible. However, it would require that you write some custom code for your site. Our team isn’t able to offer support for custom coding. Hoewver, if you are comfortable writing code yourself I suggest joining an advance WooCommerce developers group such as WooCommerce Developers Slack:
    https://woocommercecommunity.slack.com/

If you don’t already have an account, you can sign up at the bottom of the following page:https://woocommerce.com/develop-woocommerce/

Otherwise, if you need a developer to write this code for you I suggest checking sites such as https://www.codeable.io to find third-party developers.

Thanks Phil. I’m not very code savvy, so I’m thinking hiring someone will be the way to go. I’ve used codeable.io before and was very satisfied. Thanks for the reply.
