Change activation mail

I have changed the admin email, but I’m still getting the “Thanks! You should receive an activation email for OceanWP to your mailbox at [email protected]. Please make sure you click the activation button in that email to complete the install.” message.

You need to check the mail in the inbox and verify it.

The email I’m using is not the same as the address the activation link has been sent to. Is there a way for me to change the email address and receive a new activation link?

and you can change your email from the database also.

I have, the email in the users table is the same I’ve set form the dashboard, but WP still displays the other email in the activation notice.
What does the activation do, really? Everything functions well as it is, is there a problem if I don’t get another activation link?

It is the wp default features. To change the email, you have to verify it. It is not a theme related issue.

It’s just a WP thing and does not effect in any way the functionality of a WP website if I don’t activate anything?
