• We are trying to prepare for a User to be too Internet naive to understand how to reset their password. We would like to be able to just change the password from the admin backend/dashboard.

How does one change a User’s password from the backend?

I tried changing the User password in the WP user, but then that only changes the WP User and not the F-E User password. I’m assuming both would have to be changed, but I cannot find out where I can change the F-E User password.

The goal is, assuming we have an older generation user who is not computer savvy, how do we change their password for them without having their email login or having to hold their hand and walk them through step-by-step?

    Hi ebass,

There is no option to change someone’s password from the plugin admin. Once the password is created, it is encrypted in a way that is not retrievable. There are two options for changing the password. If you still know your password, then, while logged in as the user, you can go to the page with the [account-details] shortcode on it and change your password there. The other option is to use the forgot password functionality.
