Change a logo to text

  • I am new at this so I apologize if this has been answered or I am not understanding something already written.

    I don’t want to pay for any logo creating software. Instead of having a logo on the responsive theme where it says “responsive” I would just like to insert some text or a quote. Is their anyway to do this? It seems it just wants you to upload a logo of 300 x 100.

    If not, does anyone know a free website that allows you to create a logo AND download it in the proper format, the PNG file. I find free ones but they won’t let me download.

    I appreciate any help.

  • Go to Appearance > Header and click on “Remove Header Image”. At the same time I also released 10 GPL Photoshop logos as well, all you need to do is to download the trial version and edit any way you please. Not sure if Gimp can edit PSD, you can try it.
