    Hi,

    I’m currently using Authy Two-factor Authentication app for my WordPress login. I want to change my authentication app to Google Authenticator. How do I change my 2FA app?

  • Hi sysguides,

    Simply install the Google Authenticator app and then either use the secret key or the QR code from your WordPress user profile to add the site to the app.

    Finally enter a generated code from the app in your user profile and click on the Verify button to complete the setup.

    Hi @sysguides, as mentioned by nlpro, you’ll want to install the app first, then click the “Generate new secret” button (WP Profile > Two-Factor Authentication Options > Mobile App). Next, scan the QR code with your app and enter the auth code to verify. You can learn more about this here.
