Chameleon Theme Featured Slider Not Working

Background: The people who originally set up our website are no longer with the company and we know nothing about websites. The previous management had set up the featured slider to have different pages (10) cycle. I have been able to edit the pictures and text that appear as well as change the order. I had always changed the order by a custom field they had entered and the value was just 1,2,3 etc.

We decided we wanted to change all of the featured sliders. I started with just one of the new pages and made sure it appeared the way i wanted it to and it did. I went through and deleted the custom field off all of the old pages that were on the slider and when i went to add the custom field again to the new pages it was gone and i don’t know what the name of it was. I went tot he old pages and i cant add it there either.
