Change text – View Quote List

  • Hi – i am able to edit most of the element in admin, but cannot see where to edit the text “View Quote List” when item is added to list on product page, and on floating icon “4 items in Quote List.” etc.

    Also as breadcrumb title of list page Home/”Quotes List” – where to control this?


    Can you please direct me?

    Thanks for contacting us. Below is the file path where you can make alterations to the static texts within the plugin.

    Path: elex-request-a-quote/view/quote/view_quote_list.php. You can find the relevant section on line number 4.

    Additionally, to modify the title of the quote list page, you can simply edit the page and change the text as needed. However, for making changes to the text on the mini quote, we will need to run the npm (Node Package Manager) after implementing the modifications. We kindly request that you share the specific texts that need to be updated with our?support team. This will enable us to make the necessary text changes and provide you with an updated zip file for your website.

    How can I edit the view_quote_list.php in my child theme so I don’t lose the edit on updates?

    Regrettably, these texts are static within the plugin, and making changes in your theme file won’t have an effect. As a result, we kindly request that you keep the code reference for future use. Please be aware that any alterations made directly within the plugin may be lost if you update it in the future.
