It seems like BPS security is preventing me from running a mail script in my cgi-bin.

I can only get access to the cgi-bin if I remove the line
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} cgi etc etc from the .htaccess file (written by BPS)

Once I remove this line my forms can access the mail script in the cgi-bin.

Is there a reason for this please and is there a better solution.

    Thanks again

You can safely remove that cgi security rule/code. It is just a general security rule and is not really that important or critical to use. To permanently save your modification/edit do the steps below.

    1. Copy your modified BPS Query String Exploits code to this BPS Root Custom Code text box: CUSTOM CODE BPSQSE BPS QUERY STRING EXPLOITS
    2. Click the Save Root Custom Code button.
    3. Go to the Security Modes tab page, click the Create secure.htaccess File AutoMagic button, select the Activate Root Folder BulletProof Mode Radio button and click the Activate|Deactivate button.
