I had cformsII running correctly on my blog for a few days but then I changed directories and now when I try to activate the plugin I get this nifty little error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.' in /home/content/xxx/yyy/zzz/html/wp-content/plugins/cforms/cforms.php on line 762

I deleted call reference to CformsII on a page where it was deployed but the plugin still won’t work.

    Any help appreciated.

I also get this error when I try to deploy Simple Tags on the plugin dashboard.

I am on PHP 5 btw. I’ve seen that as an issue in some of the other threads related to parse errors upon failed activation.

The problem is corrupted installs. I don’t know what went wrong exactly but I downloaded and uploaded a fresh copy of Cforms and everything worked fine.
