    Hey Darryl,

That’s a strange one. It doesn’t look like there’s any JavaScript errors on the site so I’m going to have to do some testing to find out more. I’ll try installing that plugin today and see whether I can figure out what’s happening. I saw that you also posted a support topic on the forum for that plugin so hopefully between myself and them we’ll be able to figure it out.

I’ll be back in touch once I’ve done some testing.

Thanks for your prompt response John. Yes, I also figured it is important to put it on the other site as well, since it may relate to either plugin.

This morning a colleague pointed out that the same feed-and-icons scenario is actually working on another page in the same website, so it is confusing, but may offer a clue (see very deep on the page): https://itchybrain.com.au/wchm/wap/

Thanks for doing any testing, I really appreciate your help here.

    cheers

    Hey Darryl,

I installed the icon plugin and did some testing but it appears to work successfully with our plugin (screenshot). Are you using the latest version of the icon plugin?

To help narrow down the cause of the problem, are you able to try temporarily deactivating all other plugins apart from these two to see whether perhaps there’s a another plugin which might be interfering? You might also want to try temporarily reverting to a default WordPress theme (TwentyTwelve, TwentyFourteen etc) just to rule out the possibility of it being a theme issue.

If none of that helps to indicate the problem then if you’re able to grant me login access to your site then I’d be happy to take a closer look.

    John
