    Hi trouille2,
    Do the logs show anything?

ps: FYI – The newest version of CF7 (3.9) has had a lot of changes which has broken my plugin.
I’m in the process of fixing this and will release a new version within a day or two.

I’ve just release an updated version. Please try that and let me know how it goes.

    Hi there,

I am having the same problem.

The validation wheel kept spinning also before the 3.9 update.
Now I have updated your plugin and the issue remains.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanx!!

    Hi BenWorx.nl,
Check if there are any log entries in this plugin’s folder.
Look for a file called cf7_autoresp.log.
If so let me know what logs you see.

Also, check your server logs too because sometimes they can reveal useful info for issues like these.

    Thanx for the reply!

Can’t find a log in the plugin folder.
Can send you the server side log?

I tried to post this once already, so hopefully it takes this time.

I am having the exact same issue as @BenWorx.nl. I have the most recent version of WordPress, CF7 and your plugin v1.8.

The information is sending the email and the entry is successfully making it to MailChimp. Unfortunately, it is getting hung on the spinning circles so that they there is no notification and the page doesn’t for go to the Thank You page (an addition I’ve added.) I’ve tested it and that addition makes no difference.

No log file is present and I see nothing on the server.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi ASJInc,
It’s always a bit difficult to pinpoint a cause when there are no logs or signs which will help with the troubleshooting.

If you’d like me to take a quick look at your site please use the link to my contact form I posted in my previous reply.

    Hi everyone,
After looking at your sites, it appears you all have a similar problem which is related to your server setup.

When submitting your forms and observing the submission using firebug I was seeing an error occurring on your servers which was similar to the following:

    <b>Warning</b>: curl_setopt() [<a href='function.curl-setopt'>function.curl-setopt</a>]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when safe_mode is enabled or an open_basedir is set in <b>/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-autoresponder-addon-plugin/inc/Mailchimp.php</b> on line <b>256</b><br />

The above error usually occurs if your server has safe_mode enabled or it may have open_base_dir restrictions or both.
Talk to your host providers because they can help you resolve this by either setting safe_mode to OFF and/or clearing the open_base_dir restrictions.

(NOTE: safe_mode was DEPRECATED as of PHP 5.3.0 and REMOVED as of PHP 5.4.0)

I found that my personal issue was in fact the “open_basedir” settings on the server. Thank you for all of your help.
