CF7 v5.4 not working on WP 5.6.2

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

I had to roll back to the older version 5.3.2 & its working fine now.
The developers may want to have a look at this issue.
Happy to share access to my WP Server or any information required to help with the debug.

I’m not sure why this thread is marked as resolved. The previous version is working fine and the latest one is not. All arguments regarding caching is accepted but there is something about the new version that is causing it to break. — unless I’m missing something

Is it time to switch to another plugin?

I have been actively considering switching to “Ninja forms”. Will make the switch one of the weekends.

@takayukister – If you do not wish to (or unable to) actively work on fixing the bugs, I think that’s totally understandable. We are all using the plugin for free anyways but you should let the community know about your plans. I believe you owe this much to the community.

That’s cool! Thanks for understanding that the author is, like you, a volunteer and does not owe anyone on this site anything. Not even a reply. Though it is great when anyone provides support.

Please do not use the support forum for this plugin to speculate about switching to another contact form plugin. That’s just not what these CF7 support forum is for.
