CF7 Sends Emails but then not received?

Hi,
We have a client’s website which went live yesterday, and the forms work absolutely brilliantly when we use them with our own agency email addresses.
However, if we set the emails to the client’s email, they can’t receive the emails.
The problem is, we haven’t changed any settings. Could it be a problem because the emails have the same domain as the website itself?
We have Contact Form DB installed onto the website, and all of our test submissions are going straight through to the DB.
Unfortunately, we have checked both the client’s desktop email client and their webmail, and it doesn’t appear as if the emails are even hitting the server.
The client in question are using Google Mail for Business as their email provider, whereas we use Office 365.
Please advise.
