• Hi, need help with this:

From both of my computers everything works fine
(Win7 with latest Chrome and even from WinXP with outdated Chrome).
But a friend from Germany testing my site reports he cannot
send any mail. No error and the button spinner keeps turning..
    He uses Win10 with Firefox.

Need to fix this problem as I want to sell my own sofware
and offer support to my clients

    Help please!

Where on the site do you have the form having the issue?

Click on ‘support’, then select ‘spanish’ or ‘german’. There are the CF7 modules. On the english support page I put yesterday another plugin to test.

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

    Hi Takayuki,
Yesterday mi friend sent other 2 mails and his wife too,
aso working with Firefox. Same problem.
I contacted my web server, those mails don’t appear in their log and are not blocked by them!
Other users in Spain don’t have no problem (PC and mobile ok).
Has it anything to do with Firefox? This problem must be well-known!
I can’t beleive to be the only one.
    Need quick help!!!

My theme is Astra and using Elementor for building.

    The plugins are:
    Antispam Bee
    AutomatorWP (installed after the problem)
    Autoptimize
    Contact Form 7
    EDD
    EDD polylang
    Elementor
    Limit login attempts reloaded
    Meow Lightbox
    Polylang
    Proxy cache purge
    Really Simple SSL
    Simple Download Monitor
    User name changer
    Wordpress Importer
    Wordpress Optimizado
    WPCode (installed after the problem)
WPForms Light (installed after the problem on english support site for testing)

    Adding:
Just installed Firefox on my PC to test and get closer to the problem.
From here and from Firefox mails get sent correctly…
    So what’s going on?
Will ask to my friend about which version they are using
and post it here when possible.

Can’t do nothing more from here.

    Adding:
Just deleted WPForms as it did not fit my needs.
Contact Form 7 is now set up in all 3 languages.
I changed page names from “Support” to “Contact”.

    Waiting for help!

Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Really Simple SSL and WordPress Importer, and clearing all cache data.

Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    Hi Takayuki,
As I wrote before I have no issue from my computers nore from smartphone or other users in Spain. The problem by now only occurs on 2 PCs in Germany. Maybe there are more.. As I can’t reproduce this problem here, your suggestion
does not sound logic to me..
The problem can’t exist on my WordPress site, if so the problem would occur here too.
    Anything else?

    Thread Starter siggialions

    (@siggialions)

    Adding:
the friends experimenting that problem are using the same version of Firefox as I.
So we can exclude Firefox as the culprit.
Where can the problem come from?
The developers must know about this, right?

    Have you tested my site?

    Got no mails from you!

    No replies, no solution????

Hey, siggialions, I’m another CF7 user.

I would suggest installing a mail logging plugin to determine whether CF7 is at least sending out the emails after form submission with all submissions.

    Hi Ian,
    Thanks for your reply!
CF7 does not even terminate, the spinner does never stop..
The problems seem to be on the Internet provider side.
1&1 in Germany. I tried to contact them without luck till now.
They responded 1 time after 4 days asking for my client account..
I`m not their client, wrote back and still waiting…

Nobody had a problem like mine before?
