CF7 From email address

I have the same issue with CF7. I want to send the extra mail(2) form to the person that fills it in with the email address i added in the mail account server. for example.

In the easy wp smtp settings i fill in as from: [email protected]

in de CF7 from i fill in: [email protected]

In my mail i receive [email protected] instead of [email protected]

I have several contact forms with different persons that the from: email address has to go to.

what can we do?

I found a solution to this matter: i use WP MAIL SMTP plugin.

This plugin gives the option not to have to fill in the email area of the smtp setup. So that means when you use the FROM: <email> in CF7, the receiver of this email will see the NAME: <specified by you in the setup> and when they hover over that name they see the specified FROM <email>.

No more WORDPRESS name ??
