cf7 email goes to spam

Hi, I’m using Thesis theme. My Contact Form 7 emails go to spam every time. I know it has to do with my email provider, which is Yahoo… I used that to test cf7. Since the form is for potential clients to contact the company, I can’t simply tell people to add an address to their address book right off the bat.
Is there a way to change the configuration? I read there is a plugin that changes it to SMTP that helps, but it says it is 2 years old and has not been updated. Is there anything else like this?
