    Hello,

There seems to be an issue with CF7 and Elementor’s Popup builder. The form itself will work fine when on any page, but as soon as it’s in the Popup there’s a few issues.

The main issue is that with any type of submission, whether correct or incorrect, the popup will be closed & the success or error message won’t be shown unless the user clicks on the button to show the form popup again.

I’ve reached out to Elementor for support but they’ve stated that the issue lays within CF7 and they’re unable to help out.

    Thanks,
    Jordan.

You seem to be using the Contact Form 7 styler for Elementor Page Builder plugin on the site. Why don’t you post this in their support forum?

    Hi,

The issue persists regardless of what plugin or widget displays the contact form. You can use the shortcode in a widget on the popup builder and the same issue will occur.

    Thanks,
    Jordan.

@takayukister – why have you marked this as resolved? The issue is not resolved.

    Hi @takayukister,

A reply would be appreciated to this thread. As stated, the issue is between compatibility with CF7 and the Popup builder – the widget used to display is a moot point as a shortcode yields the same results. This issue is not resolved.

    Thanks,
    Jordan.

I don’t know about the Popup builder and, of course, I can’t guarantee the compatibility with it.

    Hi @takayukister ,

It isn’t compatible at the moment – that’s the problem, hence I’m trying to get support in this support forum to make it compatible.

The devs of the popup builder are more than happy to share their knowledge to help it get fixed, but as the author of the plugin they need your input.

It to me sounds like a conflict between JS libraries or so since the form will close the popup instead of showing its message.

Can you please provide some support as to how I can get this resolved?

    Thanks.

    Elementor must solve this issue.

    Elementor support says:

“We reviewed several similar issues, unfortunately, the Popup builder is not optimized to be populated with third-party forms so far. The developers are thinking about an option which will avoid conflicts. In the meantime, you can use the Form widget.”

I use Popup maker with CF7 and works well, the integration is perfect, i recomended
