CF 7 not working on Chrome w/reCaptcha

My contact form stopped working in Chrome. It was working fine, with reCaptcha. Then a week or two ago, it just stopped working.

I’ve Googled and troubleshooted as much as possible, and it still isn’t working. I discovered by accident that it is working in Microsoft Edge (which I have as an alternate browser). So this must be a Chrome-related issue.

1. The captcha does not show on the form at all.
2. It give this message with an orange box around it: Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.

But, as I said, it does appear to be working in Edge, and I sent a test message to be sure.

Please advise what to do. I’m about ready to switch to a different form.
