• Hey, I have a question. So I am using easy custom sidebars and it’s a great plugin. I just have a few issues/questions. I created several pages and I want each page to have a different sidebar. However, some of the sidebars seem to be overlapping other pages sidebars if that makes sense? Also there’s a few that aren’t exactly on the page I want them, but I did them all the same and 90% of them work or so. I think the problem may come from the parent page has priority or something for the sidebars? I’m not 100% sure. It would be pretty cool to add certain sidebars to “specific pages only” so that this overlapping doesn’t happen. If not, is there a fix for this? It could all be my fault, I honestly dont know.

    Hi xstrat33,
Our plugin should allow you to add sidebars for specific pages only. Just for clarity are you saying that when you try to add a custom sidebar for a page that has a parent page with a custom sidebar it isn’t working?

    Cheers

Hey Sunny, no, the plugin works when I add a sidebar for my pages. The problem mainly lies from when I make a sidebar for a parent page, this overrides all the sidebars for the pages under the parent page. So the pages under the parent page all have the same sidebar instead of the custom one I made for them. The other problem I have is one of the sidebars isn’t going to the page I need it to, instead it’s going to the parent page instead for some reason.
