Certain Pages Load Extremely Slow

  • My website is https://www.basketballwiveshoops.com and for some reason all the products on the page load very slow. The actual homepage along with the other main pages opens up normally. But anytime I click on a product it can take over a minute to load. This is very frustrating, because this will make me lose all my customers. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Try this, i use it and got rid of this problem quick!

    Just tried deactivating all my plugins.. nothing changed. Switching the theme wont help either because this is a special theme that uploads my products. Without the theme I wont be able to tell if my products would load or not because they wont be there. The theme is Market by the way. It was working great before, until just recently.

    the total cache plug in didn’t change anything either. Even my wordpress dashboard can be very slow sometimes. I think maybe the problem is related.

    I have navigated your website and have no speed problem. The caching also seems to be adequate.

    Maybe it is your internet connection. What speeds are you supposed to have with your ISP, what type of internet, how many devices (phones, xbox/ps3, computer, printer etc etc) do you have running off your modem/router, also how many packets have been sent and received since last restart of the modem and router?

    Really? I’ve tried of different comps with different IPs. The actual website loads fine. But did you try opening any of the products?

    I now feel the delay you’re talking about. It honestly feels like a web host problem.

    Who are you hosting through, and is it VPS, Dedicated Server, or Web Hosting?
