Certain Order are cancelled even though Payment has been received

We recently had an issue where a handful of order payments were received, but WooCommerce shows the order as cancelled. We have the hold stick set to 60 minutes. Not sure if that could be the issue. Payments are received via PayFast within a few minutes of the orders being made.
The problem occurred with about 6 orders out of 40.
Any feedback on what could have caused this issue would be great.
