Certain macros are not working

    First yes I know I am using an old version of WordPress, but upgrading is beyond my control until the IT manager allows it.

    Anyway I have the plugin installed and seems to be working with simple mathematics (i.e. n < 4) however, when I try [latex]n rightarrow infty[/latex] or [latex]n \rightarrow \infty[/latex] all the plugin does is combined the whole thing into one word (i.e. nrightarrowinfty) Is my syntax off?
