I installed the Bard theme yesterday on my blog https://www.wired2theworld.com. There are certain features that are not working depending on the Browser.
In Chrome and Microsoft Edge, I cannot see the photos in the Instagram widget over the footer.
In Internet Explorer, I cannot see the featured photos on linking to blog posts from the main page. I also cannot see the blog’s title or footer images (name of the blog).
I have another blog, https://www.formerchef.com where I use Bard and everything works perfectly. The settings are all the same. How can I fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @formerchef

At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.

`1. The reason for the issue can be your installed plugins, please deactivate them one by one and you will able to catch which one was the source for the issue.

    2. If you want to not lose all the changes made with the plugins, please install 3rd party plugin staging, clone your website database and make the changes on the cloned staging site, here is the video guide to better understand how it works.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtY-q5BBpeE

    3. If the instructions above can’t fix your issue, please let us know and we will redirect this topic to the developer’s board, they will check your website.

    Kind Regards

It looks like the issue is with Smush Pro’s CDN hosting. If I turn that off, things work fine in Chrome and Edge. It shouldn’t be that way though.
IE is still not working properly but so few people use that anymore, I guess it’s ok.

In addition, in Safari, none of my post images are showing on the main page, but the photos in the Instagram widget DO show. I don’t understand why this is happening.

    Hi,

Nick is here from DEV team, with CDN and other cache-related option it’s very easy to break site, break some file loading from the site in a browser, so probably you still have some CDN or other cache related issues on your site and that’s why this happening, I am not expert in this field unfortunately, I can 100% say that theme and Instagram works fine without any issues, we are monitoring it weekly.

By the way in the safari try to delete the cache and maybe this easy fix will help.

    Kind Regards,
    Nick

Nick-Thank you, but the problem with Safari was not that I could not see the Instagram widget photos, it’s that none of the post photos, nor the images in the header and footer with the blog’s name are showing.
Can you see all the post photos and the “wired2theworld” title in the header and footer in Safari?
