Certain Changes Not Saving

  • I’ve noticed since the editor update that occasionally small changes won’t save, and I have to go into the html in order to get them to stick. Most recently I noticed this with trying to change a link to open in a new tab/window. Tried it several times and wouldn’t save/update until I finally just changed it within the html.

    If you’re using the Classic Block, then there’s a couple of known bugs there, especially with the Link Editor. Many of these should be fixed in 5.0.2.

    The normal links in the other blocks should work fine. It’s just the Classic Block that has a few of these issues.

    Same for me – hyperlinks not saving (using 5.0.2 and latest version of theme). Very frustrating bug. And (it seems to me, anyway) something very basic to be broken. Any time-frame on fix?? Thanks.

    I am using 5.03 – and this is still an issue. If I change a link in the visual editor and click update – it appears to save but the change is not there. I’m having to edit in HTML.

    Has this been officially reported?
