• We’ve had many of our customers complaining that they are getting error messages when trying to submit their application on our site. The plugin we are using for our application form is WP Forms, and I’m wondering if there is some security setting in Cerber which may be standing in their way.

Is this possible, and if so, is there a way to enable certain parts of Cerber (i.e. the part that prevents hackers from being able to log in to our WP admin area) but disable other parts (i.e. the parts that may be hindering our customers’ ability to apply)?

    Thanks so much,

You need to find out why the form submissions were blocked. You can do that by checking form submissions on the Activity tab. Probably you need to turn off “Disable REST API” on the Hardening tab.

Hmm, you are right, I do see error codes when I got to the Activity tab, related to form submissions. (Screenshot: https://urbancraftuprising.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Screenshot-2019-07-31-12.49.08.png)

However, I disabled the REST API like you suggested, tried submitting again, and still the same problem (after clicking Submit, the page just spins and spins and then after about 30 seconds, displays the error message “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.”

    Any other ideas?
