Central not picking up outof date core or plugin files

    I have about 20 sites on Central and it only sees 3 as needing a core udpate (most all did need that), and only those same 3 as needing plugin updates (many needed that too).

    It’s not that Central can’t connect to the sites, it says it can, it just says there are no problems that need attnetion.

    This is the first time ive seen this and been using Central for a couple of years. So…what’s going on?

    Hi @ohliza, thanks for your message.

    I would firstly check whether wp-cron is working and scans are running automatically on the sites that are not reporting out-of-date versions. Free sites will only get full scans every 3 days, but daily “quick scans” also check versions.

    You can take a look at the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page which contains a list of Cron Jobs and whether they are scheduled and/or overdue.
