central control

  • Hi how do I make PowerPress have a central control with any podcast audio player? I have tried so many but all I can embed in the players are latest feed url. I want my website default player to be synced with a sticky audio player whereby if I play a podcast, it start to play concurrently with the audio player and I can control the audio file both from the default podcast player and the sticky podcast player in real-time, in other word, central control.

    Secondly, I want only the Podcast I play from the default player to play at the sticky player simultaneously.

    thirdly, my feed doesn’t play a playlist, it players only the latest posted podcast. Why is this?

    Hello @icetechy,

    What do you mean by “central control” Perhaps you can share a link to another podcast website that does what you expect, that would help us explain how you can setup such a stack.

    Can you explain the “sticky audio player”? This is not something in PowerPress, guessing it is a theme or another plugin adding this?

    Do not forget, always share web links to your website so we can look at the issues. In your case you are also referencing your podcast feed, please reply with that as well.

    re thirdly: Feed does not play a playlist, again I do not understand? If you have 2 episodes, the feed will have both episodes, just like a feed with 2 blog posts will have 2 blog posts in them. If you can share your feed we can take a look. Also please let us know what you are comparing your podcast feed to so we can explain how you can achieve the same behavior.
