    Hello,

I made a button with the text vertically centered in the preview and on desktop but then when viewed on a mobile phone, it was not centered. I tried to do the responsive over-ride for medium-sized phones and change the box height, but it did not seem to actually change the box height.

Is there an easy way to get the text to be vertically centered on both desktop and mobile?

    Hi Kayla,

I’m a bit puzzled. I’m assuming we are talking about the button with the text ‘Listen To Funky Dreamer Storytime Podcasts’. It looks fine to me on all screens except for the middle screen when the responsive settings are active.

You set the height to be very small and the width as well, so the button almost dissapears, while the normal settings keep a centered text at all times.

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘box height’. There is height (button) and container height which will only do something if the container is activated.

Second with the vertical centering, please explain what you are trying to do. Is the text in the button comparing to the button not centered, or you want to center the button on the page?

    Hello,
I am sorry for any confusion. There are currently no responsive settings.

Screenshot of phone (medium smart phone): Phone

I have it set to appear properly on the desktop. Alternatively, I can adjust where the text is vertically so that the text appears low on the desktop but centered on the phone.

The text in the button is not centered between the top and the bottom of the button.

I see. What you can try is to do, instead of setting a height ( you can set it to 0 and it should not be used ) , is to set padding top and padding bottom for the text.
