    Hi,

You simply should untick the checkbox: “Dynamic Zoom” in the map’s settings, or directly through the shortcode:

    [codepeople-post-map dynamic_zoom=”0″]

    Best regards.

I’ve tried that, but I still have no control of where the map is centered on, right now it still centers the map in the middle of the ocean, I would like it to center a map on a fixed location, and be able to set zoom points from there.

    Hi,

Could you send me the link to the webpage with the map inserted to check its settings in detail, please?

    Best regards.

Here, you’ll see the map is centered in the middle of the ocean, we would like it centered on the US. If we zoom out more then the map starts to repeat which is not what we would like either. Dynamic zoom does the same thing. https://goo.gl/TIlfng

    Hello @digdug5,

The solution in this case would be:

    – Deactivate the “Dynamic Zoom”
    – Enter a fixed “Zoom”
    – and then into the shortcode, define an additional attribute for centering the map in a specific coordinates, for example:

    [codepeople-post-map center="40.7127837,-74.00594130000002"]

    Best regards.
