Centering Images in Carousel

Hi, I can’t seem to get my images CENTERED on the slides no matter how I try. In the slide editor, it looks centered and I have the alignment set to center. But when I look at the actual page, everything is justified to the left.

I have read other threads in which it was recommended to go into the text editor and edit out the <p> and </p> in every slide. I did that, and it didn’t help.

So I went back to the visual editor, and all the p tags reappeared.

I really don’t understand why it is so hard to do this simple thing with this plugin.
