• I just upgraded to Word Press version 3.3.2 from version 3.3. In 3.3 in a post and or page I would load the image, highlight the image and click the “center” tag in the editor (page, post editor). That centered the image. In 3.3.2 though the center tag does nothing. The left align tag aligns left but the center seems to have no input. Instead I have to go into the HTML and change left to center on the alignment tags. I assume I am missing something completely simple but was hoping for some help. Thank You –

  • Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

I tried that already and no luck. I did the upgrade directly from WP admin area so I assume it would be fine but did double check as you suggest and still no luck. Very odd. Was not a problem with 3.3. Any other ideas? Thank You –

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thanks for the suggestions. Is there a way to have image alignment to default “align center” and if so do you know how I do that? 99% of the time I always align center so perhaps that is the better solution for me. Thanks for your help.

    Site url?
