    width: 100%;
    text-align: center;
}

works fine the ad titles, but I want to center the widget title.

Ohh, this depends mainly on the theme you are using, in most cases, the code below should work

.widget-title {
    text-align: center;
}

but if it won’t then you would need to check with your theme support.
