Center the Shortcode

    I am trying to get the short code to be centered in the text box but it isn’t. I tried to center it with the text box but the icons still go to the left. How do I get the icons to be centered in the text box?

    The text box shows them as centered but the are not centered on the website.

    This doesn’t work:
    <p style=”text-align: center;”>[DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]</p>

    Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

    Thanks Michael for reaching out.

    We’ll also give an option for that in the free plugin, for now it’s currently only available in this on https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/. You can still do it with the free one but it requires some CSS/coding know-how.

    I am having a similar issue in that I have set icons to ‘centre’ alignment in the plugin settings – the title centres but the icons are set to the left – looks bad.

    @compellingcopy At the moment it’s still only possible in premium as mentioned above (upon click of a button), however if you have CSS skills then there should be an alternative way too. We have it on our list to also integrate it in free.

    Thanks Social Dude. Weird how the settings say you can centre on the free version, yet this is the result.

    @compellingcopy Probably we need to change this – where did you see it?

    Maybe it is my misinterpretation, but in the settings…under number 6 “Any other wishes for your main icons?” It says alignment – centred. It says in brackets (with respect to each other) but it’s not clear what that means, so I think it needs to be a bit more user friendly and clearer that while the title will be centred, the icons will look wonky…

    Users would expect the title and icons to sit together at the very least. I don’t think any one would choose to have the appearance that I have ended up with ??

    Yes, we have it on our list to enable this in the free version too. Should be live in a few weeks.
