Center the Events Calendar-Default Page Template

The Default Event Template is the only one that centers the calendar on the page. I’ve chosen not to use it because it is so big. I chose the Default Page Template which aligns the calendar to the left. How do I center it? Or is there a way to resize the Default Event Template smaller?

Also, the header for the site is large because of the logo. I added an image above the calendar. Both it and the calendar are positioned several inches below the header. I want to move them up 3+ inches. I’ve tried a negative top margin, but that hasn’t worked. Is it possible to do this?
