• Hi,

I’m using the Medium Header Style to get the nav bar below the logo area but I want to center the logo, currently it’s in column 1 – I need to span both columns.

Using Chrome Inspector I can acheive this by removing the line <div class=”top-col clr col-2″></div> but I can’t find a way to do the same in CSS

Is there a way to remove column 2 or span both columns?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, You can use centered header style instead of medium header style to achieve your layout.

Thanks – I tried that but with centred style I don’t have the option to place the nav bar under the logo. Am I missing something?

    Hello,

Your site is in under construction mode, therefore, I am not able to see your design.

You can create a custom header using page builder as per your need and set it as default header for the site.

Step 1 – Go to Theme Panel > My Library > Add New and create a new header using your page builder.
Step 2 – Go to customize > header > general > select custom header from the list of header style, then choose your custom header template from the drop-down.

Hi Amit – many thanks. I don’t see Theme Panel or My Library……??

Happy to remove coming soon for a while if needed.

    Appreciate your help with this.

I had these same type challenges with my site. There are a lot of nice defaults but in the end I created a Custom Header template and was able to place everything right where I wanted it. I used the NavMenu element.
Make sure you look at the live site when you make the changes, the display on the entry screen was not identical to my live screen.

    Hello,

@dblivesound did you install Ocean Extra plugin? You will see the Theme Panel in your admin dashboard. Go to Dashboard > Theme Panel > My Library. Make sure you have installed Ocean Extra plugin.

Medium Header Style is perfect for your need. If possible, please make your site live so that I can provide you the possible solution for it.

@lestexas60, I replied to your previous topic. Did you check it? Please let me know if you have any issue.

Yes Amit I did try your suggestion. The Oceanwp header options are very flexible but I just couldn’t get the spacing just like I wanted it. The Logo option seemed to through things off. The other strange thing was the screen where you edit the menu showed 2 rows of menu items and the live site only showed one. One is what I wanted but it was difficult when things moved around from one screen to the other.
If you want to see what I eventually got working, a logo, a menu & a search, it’s at

I love the OceanWP theme, it just sometimes is a bit confusing who is in control, Elementor or OceanWP. ??

Amit, thank you for all your help and your quick responses.

    Hello,

@lestexas60 It will be nice if you post on your thread. If possible please tell us what you actually need with the help of a screenshot. I visited on your site but did not get your requirement clearly. Thank you
