    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

Please take a look at the question “How can I highlight certain cells or their content?” in the TablePress FAQ at https://tablepress.org/faq/highlight-cells-or-content/

By using the “tablepress_cell_css_class” filter hook, this could be automated, so that all cells with a certain content get colored automatically.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thank you Tobias!

A new login name, no way I could get logged in again. Asked a new password several times, but it didn’t work.. So now a new registaion.

What I need is a snippet(?), a piece of text to ad to a css-file that will automatically change a cell’s color into red when a cell contains the word “bezet”? (Dutch for ‘taken’, not free, besetzt in Deutsch?)

Is there someone perhaps, who could place such a piece of text for me here in this forum?

    That’s far beyond my php/css-knowledge, I’m afraid… ??

    Hi,

no problem about the new name for me ?? The mail with the new password is probably delayed.

Such snippet is not possible with only CSS, but requires PHP as well. It’s not that much code, but as I’m very busy at the moment, this exceeds my capacities of what I can offer as free support right now.
So, I either need to ask you to be patient and wait until I might have time to take a look at this in a couple of days to weeks, or – if you need this urgently – to get in touch with me by mail (the address is in the main plugin file tablepress.php), so that we can work something out, with some sort of compensation. I know that this might be a tough answer, but that’s all I can offer right now.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hello Tobias,

I’m actually looking into the possibility of a table to use on my website.
Aloys, As already indicated, the site is https://www.donna-antonia.nl/prijzen%202013duits.html
I use a summary table showing the occupation etc.
Colors etc. make it clear and easy for the visitor.

If you program/ create such plugin, of course I want to make a donation. no idea how big that amount must be.

Have indeed no great hurry, I can wait a few weeks.
Is it not be possible? Then I’ll just continue searching

    Hi Wietse,

    I’m a little bit confused now ??
Are you the friend that Aloys mentioned in the first post of this forums thread?

So, you want to highlight all cells that contain a specific word (like “besetzt” in the link) with (for example) a red background?
Then yes, this is possible, but it requires some extra programming.

Can you therefore please contact me via email (the address is in the main plugin file tablepress.php), so that we can discuss details?

    Thanks,
    Tobias

Just wondering if there was a solution for this?
I’m looking for something almost the exact same.

    Hi,

no, sorry, there’s no directly available solution for this yet.
My offer from my second reply above is still valid though.

    Regards,
    Tobias
