    Has this option been removed?
    — crop featured images (to maintain the aspect ratio defined by the theme or WordPress media settings)
    and
    How should I set the ratio of the featured image if I want to apply it to the original ratio of theme?
    And if want to maintain the original image (without directly applying the scene thumbnail ratio)?

    Hello, @teshin63.

    The option was removed because its functionality is applied automatically now. To adjust the registered sizes of the images and define whether the image should be cropped or not, there is a plugin I like: Simple Image Sizes, by Rahe. Install that if your theme doesn’t provide this feature.
