CDN not displaying video with “X” theme, otherwise great plugin ??

I apologize for any delay in addressing your concern. To clarify, are you experiencing difficulties with videos not appearing on your site that uses the “X” theme when the Image CDN feature in Jetpack Boost is activated?

I may not be well-versed with the “X” theme, but if it does integrate its own image CDN feature, it could be prudent to keep it active exclusively in one area to prevent possible overlaps or conflicts.

The theme is X Theme by Themeco and when we use the video background option paired with Jetpack’s CDN and lazyload it no longer loads the video background. X Theme does not have a CDN feature as far as I’m aware.

This isn’t so much of a problem now as the client is happy with and prefers a static hero image.

I am happy to hear that your client is happy; however, if you would like to troubleshoot that, you can switch to a default theme such as Twenty Twenty-Three and test whether that changes the behavior on the front-end. To avoid disrupting your users’ experience, you can use a plugin like Health Check & Troubleshooting to only test this on your side/account:
