CDN does not deliver .jpg files

I’m using your plugin on several sites with great success. But now I created a new one, where the CDN (amazon cloudfront ) does not work for some images stored in wpcontent/uploads. Others are delivered correctly, even from the same folder. This site is on a server with http/2 support by using apache and nginx on linux ubuntu.
