• Hi,

    1. I have a wordpress installation in Azure.
    2. I have also created a separate storage account (to be used only for media uploads – images & videos). This gives me the origin hostname.
    3. Next, I have created a CDN endpoint for this storage account. This gives me the endpoint name.
    4. I installed the plugin Windows Azure Storage for plugin. I set the Storage Account Name, Storage Account Key and Default Storage Container. –> Here I use the origin host name.
    5. Checked the site – upload media OK; site in browser OK.

How I now configure wordpress to use the CDN endpoint when requests from browser?
Should I use the CNAME setting in the plugin?
Or, should I install a different CDN plugin?

Thanks for some help and guidance.

    Hi Ashivn,

the CNAME setting should work in this regard. Did you run into any issues with this approach?

Hi Thorsten, you are right, it seems working now (may be first time it didn’t save correctly). Thanks for this.
