    Hello,

In your recent update, two new features were included: the UCSS and mandatory CCSS (up to now we could leave it disabled and use our own CCSS).

But now we are force to use it if we are using Async CSS option, and we are forced to use Quic Cloud, which have serious limitation in monthly and daily requests, now, with expired credits, a lot of pages are breaking due to missing CSS or assets which are on hold in Quic Cloud queue.

In a specific website, I had to completely turn LiteSpeed plugin off, because it was preventing the site to load in mobile AT ALL!!! We’ve lost a lot of audience and money in the past 2 days due to this untested release.

Here a list of websites which I had problems:
    https://ohoje.com
    https://diariodoestadogo.com.br
    https://kenominas.com.br

And we had to completely disable it on https://revistabula.com.

Please revert that options ASAP and leave the Quic Cloud options as optional! We’re already paying for LiteSpeed service, we should not have to be obligated to pay for another service.

  • *** Bruno, estou passando exatamente pela mesma coisa, fora que eles est?o com problemas na engine de minifica??o e combina??o de arquivos… ***

I couldn’t agree more with you. My recommendation as workaround (until they definetely admits the greed decisions) is to disable guest mode, UCSS, Async CSS, Stale Cache, all Minify/combine options.

It’s almost a 90% of plugins functions, but at least you will have some kind of cache…

It’s a shame and not a single official statement about all this bugs… we’re clients who pay for your servers, for god sake!

It’s a shame! I’m not sure how much time this issue was happening, but’s awful the lack of support.

Anyway, since leaving it off was making our web vitals score going nuts, I fixed it reverting to version 4.1 and keeping UCSS off.

    Hi,

first of all please allow me to apologize for the inconvenience it brought to me

a lot of pages are breaking due to missing CSS or assets which are on hold in Quic Cloud queue.

the cloud services are still optional , it’s not like if you don’t link to QC, you can’t use the plugin , most of functions/features are not linked/related to QC

UCSS and CCSS are also optional and asynchronous operation.

if UCCS/CCSS are not generated yet or being hold in queue , the page will still load as it is just without UCSS and CCSS/load async CSS enabled

we are aware there is a potential bug that could cause 404 error on combined CSS and we are working on it

because it was preventing the site to load in mobile AT ALL

I checked 2 of the sites you listed and it seems loading fine on mobile , please be more specific how it prevents loading on mobile ? any more specific symptom or error message ?

    Best regards,

    Hi @qtwrk ,

CCSS is not optional anymore if you want to use async CSS. Here lies the first issue. I’m not sure what was causing missing assets.

The issue on mobile seemed like a render prevent issue caused by some CSS or JS. My best bet is that it was related with a sort of UCCS and CCSS not being correctly generated, so the page was being generated but in a blank screen. It’s not occurring anymore because I reverted the plugin to version 4.1. Note that the issue only occurred while incognito (or in a fresh new browser), so the Guest mode should have a play there as well.

The mobile issue only occurred in revistabula.com but on other sites I had various issues as well, having to disable either UCSS/CCSS/Guest mode.

Also, all those errors only started occurring after credits on Quic Cloud exhausted. So, there’s probably a global issue with not loading styles correctly when Quic Cloud doesn’t have credits.

    Hi,

My best bet is that it was related with a sort of UCCS and CCSS not being correctly generated

you can enable debug log, to see if UCSS or CCSS has been added into page , that would confirm your bet

I also saw cases that when guest mode is enabled , the guest mode request has been blocked by mod_security , that leads to page broken , maybe you can check on that

may need to check if there is any error message show up in dev tool

the debug log should also tell you what’s going on with credit exhausted , as it should work as the option ccss/ucss are disabled when no quota left

there is not enough information in this topic for me to go all the way through

please create a ticket , we can check with you deeper

    Best regards,
