I have civievent installed on my WP, with Responsive theme. I include the widget in a custom sidebar. I don’t know why it is not responding to any changes in CSS. So I want to ignore the current provided themes “stripe” and “divider” to use the current theme, so I left the widget theme blank and saved but the appearance remained black and white while my theme is green. So do I miss something here?

  • You can edit wp-content/plugins/civievent-widget/civievent-widget.css

Change the Odd Even lines with the background color you want to use. I believe these are lines 22 & 26. These changes will stay in effect until you install an update which will over write this file.

There’s no color information included at all in the widget’s CSS if you leave the widget theme field blank. You may have some caching or other CSS causing the problem.
