    Hi Frank,

i enabled javascript and css and saved. But after that my menubar went to the right and also the sidebar is not rendered dynamic anymore. is there any way to get back to the earlier version of my js and ccs files? Otherwise it can be though.

Also it’s gets a little bit slower then before.

    Thanks,

    Beni

    hi Beni;
first of all; AO does not overwrite your original files, so you can simply disable JS or CSS optimization (and empty your page cache) to see if this is a CSS or JS problem. next step is to (re-)configure AO to troubleshoot the JS or CSS issue as described in the FAQ. If JS you might see information of what is going wrong in your browser’s console. if you can’t get this fixed provide me your site’s URL and I’ll have a quick look.

Regarding speed; if you use AO without a page caching solution, your site can indeed be slightly slower (depends on amount of CSS/ JS to optimize). Installing a page cache plugin (wp super cache or comet cache -see “optimize more”-tab in AO°) is highly recommended (even without AO).

    hppe this helps,
    frank

    Hi Frank,

I already disabled the JS and CSS and clear the cache but it didn’t change. Indeed I use super cache for my site.

Can you take a look at my site : shirtyourmission.com

The menu on the top changed to the right and when u login then the menu bar on the left side is not smooth anymore…

Thanks for your fast response, I am very happy of your efforts. I am looking forward to hear from you. Maybe you can find out what the ao changed…

    Thanks a lot,

    Ben

I only get an ugly PHP error-message now Ben, seems you have other problems?

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Tribe__PUE__Package_Handler’ not found in wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/PUE/Checker.php:200

ping me here when your site is back, I’ll be happy to look into the CSS-stuff.

OK, I see you’re also using bwp minify. css/ js optimizers are a jealous bunch, anything can happen if you use 2 at the same time, so you’ll have to choose between AO & BWPm there Ben. if choosing AO, can you disable BWPm so we can continue our endeavors? ??

    HI Frank,

of course, i deactivate bwp and now only ao is activated. The menu is still on the right side of the nav section. (should be in the middle)… btw i clear the cache via ao

btw: for all who reads through this posts. The change from bwp to ao boost my site loading for 1sec ?? (very happy about this…) . only the menu header and this will be a 5 star rating

OK, can you try adding boss/css-compressed/ (or specifically boss/css-compressed/header-style-2.css) to the comma-separated list of CSS optimization exclusions?
