CC Child Pages with Advanced Custom FIelds?

    Hello, I’m trying to figure out how to make this wonderful plugin to work with Advanced Custom Fields. With no luck so far :\ For example, I’ve created a field of image by Advanced Custom Fields and want to display it on parent page. Can you please explain how to do it?

    Hi.

    At present, the plugin does not support images via custom fields … but it sounds like a great idea.

    I am aiming to find some time to update the plugin within the next week or two, I will look at adding something like a use_custom_thumbs parameter so that you can specify the custom field to use (if not present, it would display the featured image as per the standard functionality).

    I have released a new version of the plugin, which adds use_custom_thumbs to the list of parameters for dealing with custom fields.

    It takes the name of a custom field, the value of which should be set to either the ID of the image or the URL of the image.

    I have tested with Advanced Custom Fields, and it works well (as do the use_custom_title and other custom field parameters).
