    Hi
I’m so excited to find this plugin! Alas nothing is easy and I have a couple issues…
installed on multisite, lastest version of wordpress, buddypress previously installed using default theme on a subsite.

I installed cbox and chose the cbox-theme. first thing, it installed on the MAIN site and overrode my theme!

I changed that and went to the subsite and activated the theme there. I have the theme running on subsite. however,

    1. cbox settings still says I’m using XX theme (which is on mainsite) and cbox-theme not installed.

    2. no homepage widgets at all, widgets for forums, groups, wiki etc all available.

    3. no site features for homepage slider in admin dashboard. homepage template when selected displays location for slider, but not option to use site features

    help really appreciated.

    Hi there,

Glad you like the plugin, but sorry to hear you are having issues! I’d recommend you to make a topic on Commonsinabox.org, this is where our developers hang out to help you solve your issues! I know this reply is a bit late, so hopefully you’ve got everything working by the time you’ve read this!

    Greetings,
    Bowe

same problem, any fix found so far?

Because we always assumed people would be using the CBOX theme in a multisite setup, we anticipated that bloggers (students) in the network would also be using this theme. For this reason we’ve disabled the “Site Features” and Homepage Widgets on subsites in a network. In the next version of CBOX I’ll work on making this a more elegant solution so that the homepage features and widgets also show up on subsite that has BuddyPress activated!
