• Hi,

I love the plugin, I use it on pretty much all my pages. I was recently looking at ways to improve my site speed and added W3TC (not knowing it would have an effect on CBC)

I’ve since ticked the option to disable W3TC on all pages with the shortcode, which should hopefully help restore the functionality.

I was just wondering if you have looked into some sort of fragment / partial page caching solution that could work along side your plugin?

I was reading this article and wondering if it might be something that could be possible for future development?

I appreciate the plugin is currently free, but I for one would be interested in a pro version (at a cost) that could also handle some sort of fragment cache option?

    Hey,

I like the idea of fragment caching… never really considered it to be honest. That said though, I’m not sure it would be applicable if whole page caches are employed. I’ll need to dig into this topic a lot more before I can see what could work.

Thanks for the idea and suggestion!

Was checking for partial caching as well. There are two options – one partial caching and the other is caching per country. both would be great.

Nice idea, caching per country would be ace.

I use this plugin to display a Welcome message on the topbar menu based on the geolocation of the visitor. I also use W3TC.

So, if we can exclude caching on the shortcode, that would be great. Otherwise, the shortcode wouldn’t provide the correct message for the geolocation.

    Thanks,

What if, and this might not fit for everyone but…

What if there was a custom post type from your plugin which any “custom content” would be added there…. then, through caching settings we could exclude that post type from being cached, I think the caching plugins could do this, right? Then as far as something like cloudflar or wpengine caching we could exlucde the .com/cbc_post.* or something to remove anything from that post type from being cached..

Personally I want to display things like “Free UK Shipping” or “Free USA Shipping” etc etc… so having a custom post type to store this and then exclude from cache seems like a good possibility.

    ??

    Thanks!
