    Hi,

I have sent emails to CBengine about CBsearch not working with my theme, but have not had any response, so I will try here.

Google site search plugin works on the site, but CBSearch doesn’t… I am taken to my home page after submitting search criteria in the search box.

It may well be a theme related problem (clickbump) but I dont know. Some research on google about searches directing to a home page, suggest there may be a problem with the theme.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Hi Jenny did you get it working ?
i figure that the new release does work with all themes and upgrading to the lastest version should fix the problem.

    hello guys, my name Giatitta

I wanted to know if this plugin CBpress, help in ranking for google and other search engines, or affect the ranking instead of helping?

    why do you ask?

because from what I understand, this plugin inserts ad text to other pages, then the text will be copied to it?

please i urgently need to know

thank you very much in advance

Hello, we did have some compatibility issues with the latest version of WordPress (3.5) We just loaded and tested another new version of CBPRESS last night as activation was broken when the latest version of WordPress came out. If you could deactivate the plugin and tell WordPress to remove the old plugin files… Then download it again by using the “add new” plugin link through your WordPress admin area. From that page just search for CBPRESS and click “install now” to reinstall it, then activate the plugin. This should fix the registration problems and some widget conflicts that are being caused by the newest version of WordPress.

Giatitta, We highly recommend using the smart filter for displaying full marketplace products OR rewriting the descriptions of the products you are adding through your custom lists so that Google does not consider your content to be “duplicate” … in addition, some vendors write their product descriptions to affiliates rather than consumers so you should see better conversions with the products that you feature with rewrites as well.
