I wrote a workaround for the bug in the Theme Forest function that mangles shortcode formatting. However, it is apparent from Envato support that they have no interest in resolving theme conflicts with my plugins:

Given the lack of support from Envato I will provided very limited support for sites using Envato based themes. In 2 years of attempting to work with Envato they continue to make it clear they have little interest in supporting my plugins. Envato continues rejecting my developer application, rejecting any and all product submissions, including Store Locator Plus, and has responded to every support request with the standard “we can’t help you, sort it out yourself” response.

In contrast, WooThemes has consistently provided excellent support. They work with me to sort out any issues, have provided access to their development program an in-house development team, and continue to communicate with me in a positive way. I have had several core team members correspond with me directly regarding various framework questions. Their support staff always digs in deeper to ANY problem including those of third party plugins or themes, and I’ve never been told “deal with it yourself, good luck”. Instead WooThemes continues to follow up every day until I tell them “problem resolved, thanks!”.

My recommendation for people looking for maximum compatibility with the Store Locator Plus plugin on well designed commercial theme framework is to use WooThemes. While ThemeForest and Envato provide some nice looking theme options, I cannot guarantee compatibility with Store Locator Plus or any of the other plugins or add-ons that are on the way.
